During this class our skilled instructors will help to determine what classes to take next and guide you forward on your Thrive Hive journey. A great first workout for beginners and pros.
Our Fundamentals class focuses on the building blocks of Pilates, the A, Bee, Cs if you will. All new bees to Pilates will begin here to learn the core principles and basic movements of the Pilates method. This class is designed to teach proper form, alignment and breathing techniques before progressing. This class is suitable for those new to Pilates and those looking to reinforce their understanding of the fundamentals.
Our Beginners class is designed as a building block to progress you on your Pilates journey. This class is slower in pace with a focus on increasing strength, flexibility and balance. Our Beginners class is suitable for all ages and body types, offering modifications to accommodate varying fitness levels and needs.
Our Intermediate class will be a faster pace, have more complex exercises and increased resistance, while still incorporating balance and flexibility. This class is suitable for clients who are familiar with Pilates and exercise regularly. This class will offer modifications to both ease and intensify the workout.
Our Advanced class will be more challenging, incorporating dynamic movements and standing work on the reformer with the occasional jump board. Proper form and alignment are crucial as advanced exercises require a high level of precision. This class is suitable for injury free clients who are very experienced in the Pilates method and who have been exercising consistently.
Our Expert class is for extremely advanced clients. The focus is perfecting moves that are not for the faint of the heart. Joseph Pilates was a circus performer and this class may have some circus tricks. In this class you will see how far you can push your body with extremely complicated, challenging and rewarding moves. Only suitable for expert and injury free students who have instructor approval.
Our Jump Board Cardio class is a low-impact, high-energy workout that combines the principles of Pilates with plyometric and cardio exercises. Continuous jumping movements will challenge coordination and engage strength while still being low-impact. This class is suitable for injury free clients who are intermediate level and above.
Our Power Pilates class is a high intensity, low impact, total body workout with body building components focusing on core, strength and endurance. This class is suitable for injury free client who are intermediate level and above.
Our legacy class is a slower-paced, low-impact class with an emphasis on improving functional movement, balance and stability. This class is ideal if longevity and independence as you age is a priority. Although our legacy class was designed for 65+, anyone can attend.
Our Sound and Stretch class is a mixture between a sound bath and a Reformer assisted stretch class. This class embodies the best of both worlds, stretching on the Reformer while enjoying natures healing tones in the background.
Our Sound Bath class is an immersive meditative experience. Crystal singing bowls are played to induce a full-body listening experience through sound and vibration promoting relaxation, rejuvenation and healing. This class does not use the Pilates Reformers and is suitable for everyone.
